There is “Sottosopra”, able to flip the horizon of our perceptions thanks to the scent of the lemon and the inebriating notes of Jasmine. Then “Allegro con Brio” which, with its soul of thrush and cloves, it brings us back to our childhood.
The spiced bouquet of “Preludio d’Oriente”, based on bergamot and Patchouli, recalls the gardens of the Maharaja. Instead the delicate jus of “Assolo”, a crescendo of apple essences, jasmine and cedar, is a tribute to individuality.
Eleven fragrances that Silvio Levi, a past in the field of pharmaceuticals, has created with the help of some of the most famous “noses”. Silvio is a son of art, in 1955 his grandparents opened Calé, the first retailer of rare perfumes in Milan. He took the reins of the family company only in 1995.
In the years 2000, with the help of his wife, he inaugurated his new shop. A charming place in one of the most suggestive areas of Milan. In 2018 he debuts with Calé Fragranze d’Autore, a collection of perfumes not only to smell but also to wear.
Thanks to Calé Fragranze d’Autore Silvio transformed his emotions into perfumes. “Smell, listen, feel” becomes the leitmotif of the collection, a multi-sensory experience that also sees the involvement of the composer Philip Abussi.
Abussi welcomes the invitation and translates in music the sensations that every scent releases. Without knowing the ingredients he writes for each fragrance a soundtrack, creating a synesthesia between hearing and smell. Listen to a perfume and savor its beauty, Silvio Levi made it possible. There is nothing like music able to make us understand the profound meaning of things.
